Herlinda Rubio

Herlinda Rodriguez Rubio, 74, of Jefferson, died Thursday, October 16, 2008.

Born in Mexico, she was the daughter of the late Genaro and Salud Zendejas Rodriguez. She was a homemaker. Mrs. Rubio was preceded in death by her husband, Jose Rubio.

Survivors include sons, Alvaro Rubio and David Rubio, both of Mexico City, Mexico, Genaro Rubio, Corpus Christi, Texas, Raul Rubio, Ramiro Rubio and Jose Rubio, all of Jefferson, Rosalinda Rubio, Miami, Fla., and Isabel Rubio, Raleigh, N.C.; a brother, Jose Rodriguez, Michoacan, Mexico; and sisters, Elisa Maria, Bertha, Piedad, Elena, and Silveria Rodriguez, Michoacan, Mexico.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, October 18, at 11 a.m., in the chapel of Little-Ward Funeral Home with the Rev. Jeff Williams officiating. Burial will be in the Nicholson Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Friday, October 17, from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m.

Little-Ward Funeral Home, Commerce, is in charge of arrangements.
