SNELLVILLE - James Neal Sartain, 80, formerly of Danielsville, passed away on Thursday, October 17, 2013, at the Silverleaf Alzheimer's Care of Snellville.
He was born in Danielsville on September 18, 1933, the son of the late Lee and the Ina Mae Martin Sartain. He was a self-employed brick mason and a member of the Jones Chapel United Methodist Church. Mr. Sartain was preceded in death by his wife, Sophronia Crook Sartain.
Survivors include his children, Jeff Sartain, Grayson, and Shelia Sartain McClure, Suwanee; four grandchildren; a brother, Max Sartain, Danielsville; and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Sunday, October 27, at 2 p.m., at the Jones Chapel United Methodist Church with the Revs. Dennis Kesler and Richard Huycke officiating. Interment will be in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Saturday, October 26, from 6 to 8 p.m. The family is at their respective homes.
