WINDER – Floyd “Mutt” Cooper, 78, passed away Tuesday, October 15, 2013.
He was the son of the late Floyd Albert Cooper and Onnie Teal Burton. During his life, he served in the United States Army and was retired from Akins Ford.
Survivors include his wife, Virginia Cooper, Winder; three sons, Jeff (Cheryl) Cooper, Braselton, Chris (Tiffany) Cooper, Athens, and Chad Cooper, Winder; a sister, Evelyn Haynie, Winder; five grandchildren, Wesley Cooper, Casey Crowe, Blake Cooper, Crystal Cooper, and Jeremy Rider; and five great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home Thursday, October 17, from 6 to 8 p.m. Funeral services will be held in the chapel of Smith Funeral Home Friday, October 18, at 2 p.m. with John Talley officiating. Interment will follow the service at Barrow Memorial Gardens in Winder.
