Vader (A) Argo Campbell, 86, of Royston, died Wednesday, October 15, 2008, at Hart Care Center in Hartwell.

She was born in Madison County on January 3, 1922, the daughter of the late James W. “Joe” and Mary Dove Argo. She was a homemaker and attended the Bethel Holiness Church. Mrs. Campbell was preceded in death by her husband, Jim Campbell.

Survivors include a son, James Campbell Jr., Royston; daughters, Mary Frances Dutton, Douglasville, and Ruth Martin, Royston; eight grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; six great-great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.

The body is at Pruitt Funeral Home in Royston, where the family will receive friends Saturday, October 18, from 7 to 9 p.m. The family is at their respective homes.

Pruitt Funeral Home, Royston, is in charge of arrangements.
