COMMERCE - Alma D. Faulkner, 96, died Wednesday, October 2, 2013, at Northridge Health and Rehab Center.
She was born in Commerce, the daughter of the late Hardman and Hattie David. She was a member of Jones Chapel Baptist Church and was a homemaker. Mrs. Faulkner was preceded in death by her husband, Sede Faulkner; and son, Joe D. Williams.
Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, Otis and Ruby Mae Williams, Commerce; daughter-in-law, Katie Williams, Athens; grandchildren, Priscilla Edwards (Lamar), Debra Harrison (Greg), Wanda Williams, Serterica Williams, Antwon Williams, and Sharde Williams; seven great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
Funeral services will be at 1 p.m., Monday, October 7, at Jones Chapel Baptist Church with the Rev. Theodore H. Braswell, Jr. officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Sunday, October 6, from 6 to 8 p.m.
