Barry Willard Sisson, 49, of Gainesville, died Tuesday, October 14, 2008, at his residence following an extended illness.
He was the son of Willard and Cherie Stonaker Sisson.

Mr. Sisson was the brother of Leeann Hicks of Commerce.

Memorial services will be held Friday, October 17, at 12:00 p.m. at The Father’s House in Dawsonville with Pastor Ricky Stepp officiating. The family will receive friends Thursday, October 16, from 6 to 9 p.m., at the Riverside Drive Chapel in Gainesville.

Memorial Park Funeral Home, Gainesville, is in charge of arrangements.

Expression of sympathy to the family of Barry Sisson:

All of us in the Junior Drag Racing League are saddened by the loss of our friend, Barry Sisson. We are grateful for the many happy racing years we shared.
