Stella Pruitt Ross, 60, of Jefferson, died Tuesday, October 14, 2008, at Northeast Georgia Medical Center in Gainesville, following, an extended illness.
She was the daughter of Louise Beck Landers of Braselton and the late Troy Landers. She had resided in Jackson County for most of her life and was a manager with Burger King of Gainesville. Mrs. Ross was preceded in death by her first husband, James Pruitt; and a daughter, Tina Pruitt.
Survivors in addition to her mother include her husband, Barry Ross, Jefferson; sisters, Carolyn Gaines, Hoschton, and Debbie Murphy, Pendergrass; step-children, Tim Ross, Brandi Ross, David Dyer and Alan Dyer; and eight grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, October 18, at 2 p.m., in the chapel of Carter Funeral Home. Burial will be in Walnut Fork Baptist Church cemetery.
Carter Funeral Home, Winder, is in charge of arrangements.
