Mary Almond, of Commerce, died Monday, October 13, 2008, at BJC Nursing Facility.

Born in Gwinnett County, she was a lifelong resident of Jackson, and also lived in Jackson County.

Survivors include sisters, Vivian Anderson, Commerce; brothers, Billy Almond, Tommy Almond and James Almond, all of Commerce.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, October 16, at 2:30 p.m. at the Warren Chapel United Methodist Church with the Rev. Kevin Wood officiating. Burial will be in Johntown Cemetery. Visitation will be the day of the service from 11:30 a.m. to hour of service.

Forestglen Mortuary, Jefferson, is in charge of arrangements.
