DANIELSVILLE - Sara Lou Phillips Daniels, 88, passed away on Monday, August 26, 2013, at her residence.
She was born in Royston on November 27, 1924, the daughter of the late Wiley Franklin and Lillie Mae Phillips Phillips. She was a homemaker and a member of the New Hope Worship Center in Danielsville. Mrs. Daniels was preceded in death by her husband, Jessie Addison Daniels; and a son, Frank Daniels.
Survivors include sons and daughters-in-law, Harry and Pam Daniels, Danielsville, Neal and Linda Daniels, Danielsville, and Susan Daniels, Danielsville; daughter and son-in-law, Connie and John Certusi, Buford; ten grandchildren; fourteen great-grandchildren; brother, C.J. Phillips. Danielsville; and sisters, Bobbie Jean Hattaway, Danielsville, and Geneva Gordy, Danielsville.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, August 29, at the New Hope Worship Center with the Revs. Mike Spence and Dennis Kesler officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. Wednesday, August 28. The family is at the home.
