Miriam Hollifield

Miriam Grizzle Hollifield, 90, of Winder, died Sunday, October 12, 2008.

Born in Jackson County, she was the daughter of the late James and Dru Willie Cosby Grizzle. She was a member of the Corinth United Methodist Church. Mrs. Hollifield was preceded in death by her husband, J H Hollifield.

Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, Terry and Kay Hollifield, Winder; daughter and son-in-law, Vicki and Mike Fuller, Duluth; six grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; brothers, Bob Grizzle, Decatur, and Harvey Grizzle, Dunwoody; and sisters, Hazel Tinsley, Cumming, and Emma Lee McDowell, Decatur.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, October 16, at 4 p.m., at Smith Memory Chapel. Burial will be in Barrow Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends Wednesday, October 15, from 6 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.
