Alonzo Long Sr., 80, of Carlton, died Thursday, October 9, 2008.

Survivors include his wife, Delois Long; sons, Alonzo Jr., Alvin, Marion and Dennis Long; sisters, Louise Sims and Ruth Mattox; five grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; two step-grandchildren; two step-great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were held Monday, October 13, at New Bethlehem Baptist Church. Burial was in the church cemetery.

Jones Lexington Funeral Chapel, Lexington, was in charge of arrangements.
