COMMERCE - Wanda Ilene Wilson, 75, died Friday, August 9, 2013 at Athens Regional Medical Center.
She was born in Modesto, Ill., the daughter of the late Lester and Flossie Hart Grinkey. She was a member of Grove Level Baptist Church and was a homemaker. In addition to being a homemaker, she was employed by WalMart for 22 years and loved her WalMart family.
Survivors include her husband, James Wilson, Commerce; daughters and sons-in-law, Vicki and Brad Wilson, Commerce, and Jody and Trey Gilham, Columbia, S.C.; son and daughter-in-law, Rick and Julie Wilson, Flintstone; brothers, Delmar Grinkey, Illinois, Gerald Grinkey, Wisconsin, and Donnie Grinkey, Jacksonville, Ill.; grandchildren, Burch, Luke, Blake (Shae), Nathan (Leah), Emma, Ben and Wil; and great-grandchildren, Kaisyn, Lauren and Lily Kate.
Funeral services were held Monday, August 12, at the chapel of Little-Ward Funeral Home with the Revs. Brad Wilson and John Wood officiating. Interment was in Mt. Olive Baptist Church Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers were the following, son, Rick Wilson; sons-in-law, Trey Gilham and Brad Wilson; and grandsons, Burch Wilson, Blake Wilson and Nathan Wilson.
Little-Ward Funeral Home, Commerce, was in charge of arrangements.
