Mrs. Whitfield was truly great lady and wonderful teacher. I lived near her from 1965-69. Even when children were headaches and troublemakers, she never gave up on them.

Mrs. Whitfield was Holly's tutor during her elementary school years. Not knowing Holly had ADHD until her college years, Mrs. Whitfield's one-on-one is what got her through. In 4th grade, because of Mrs. Whitfield's help, Holly won all the ITBS awards (except P.E.). To the family of Mrs. Whitfield, we want to offer our sympathy and let you know that this fine woman was a blessing to our lives!

Mrs. Whitfield was such a kind and caring person. Over the years, I had her as a substitute teacher many, many times and she was always very nice to me. I will have fond memories of her and wish the deepest sympathies to her family and friends.

I just want to let Mrs. Whitfield's family know that I am very sorry for your loss. Mrs. Whitfield home schooled me back in 1989 after I had surgery at the age of 14. She was a wonderfl lady and even in her elder years remembered me. She will truly be missed.
