JEFFERSON - Lucille Frances Love Fowler, 85, passed away on Monday May 20, 2013.
She was born in Hall County, the daughter of the late Charlie and Mary Sanders Love. She, along with her late husband, owned and operated Fowler Auto Sales in Pendergrass and Jefferson, Fowler Country Store in Pendergrass, and worked on the family farm raising chickens and cattle.
Mrs. Fowler was preceded in death by her husband, E.L. “Mark” Fowler; a son, Harry Fowler; brothers, Earnest and Clarence Love; and sisters, Annie Mae Benson and Clara Covington.
Survivors include a daughter and son-in-law, Joan and Robert Akin, Jefferson; grandchildren, Mark Fowler, Jefferson, John and Tina Davis, Winder, Robert and Sandy Akin, Nicholson, Melissa and Danny Exum, Douglasville, David Kirchens, Japan, Daniel Kirchens, Germany, and Sean Kirchens, Ohio; great-grandchildren, Jesse Fowler, Jay Fowler, Clay Fowler, and Summer Fowler, Caleb Davis, Colby Davis, and Cason Davis, Holli Exum, Adam Exum, Tyler Akin, Justin Akin, and Bradley Akin; great-great-grandchildren, Lily Kirchens and Brian Kirchens; sisters-in-law, Hazel Fowler Gee, Jefferson, and Alene Cruce, McDonough; and many special nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were held Wednesday, May 22, in the chapel of Evans Funeral Home with the Rev. Eric Shelton officiating. Interment was at Pendergrass Baptist Church Cemetery.
