BETHLEHEM – Viola “Crick” Shoemake, 90, passed away Thursday, May 16, 2013.
She was the daughter of the late Chester Lee and Mary Magdeline McDaniel Walls. During her life she worked for Carwood Manufacturing as a machine operator. She enjoyed quilting and she was a hard worker, loved ones stated. Mrs. Shoemake was preceded in death by her husband, Edmond Shoemake.
Survivors include three brothers, Ernest and Benny Walls, both of Monroe, and George Walls, Bethlehem; sister, Polly Leola McDaniel, Bethlehem; and several great-nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, May 18, at 2 p.m. from the chapel of Smith Funeral Home. Burial will be at Bethel Baptist Church Cemetery in Bethlehem. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Friday, May 17, from 5 to 9 p.m.
