Aaron Chaney

Aaron B. Chaney, 67, of Commerce, died Saturday, May 24, 2008.

Born in Jackson County, he was the son of the late Archie Dean and Thelma Ikard Chaney. He was retired from the City of Commerce, where he worked in the water plant, and was a member of Mt. Calvary Baptist Church.

Survivors include children, Kerry Pattman, Stacey Rucker and Brittany Rollins; brothers and sisters-in-law, Archie Chaney Jr. and Vivian Chaney, and Samuel and Rebecca Chaney, all of Commerce, Jimmy and Mary Frances Chaney, Bloomington, Ind.; and a sister, Alice Pittman, Commerce.

Funeral services were held Wednesday, May 28, at Mt. Calvary Baptist Church with the Rev. W.R. Brown officiating. Burial was at Jackson Memorial Gardens.

Little-Ward Funeral Home, Commerce, was in charge of arrangements.
