CANON - Thomas "Tom" Henry Cooper, 64, passed away Tuesday, April 30, 2013 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center following an extended illness.
He was born December 9, 1948, in Princeton, W. Va., the son of the late Henry T. and Virginia Kimble Cooper. He was an attorney in private practice and a former member of Prince of Peace Catholic Church. Mr. Cooper was preceded in death by his parents; and a brother, Michael Keith Cooper.
Survivors include his fiancé, Annette Holland, Canon; son, Michael Holland; brothers, Jeffery Cooper, Princeton, W. Va., and Rick Cooper of Windsor, Pa.; grandchildren, Korbin Holland, Kingston Holland and Kaylie Holland; aunts, Bobby Smith, Peggy Ford and Norma Frye; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m., Friday, May 3, from the chapel of Memorial Park South Funeral Home. Burial will be at Memorial Park South Cemetery. The family will receive friends on 6 to 8 p.m., Thursday, May 2, at the funeral home.
