Jeffery Alan Pittman, 52, of Athens, died Wednesday, October 1, 2008.
A native of Clarke County, he was the son of Charles Edward Pittman of Hull and the late Sylvine Adams Pittman.
Mr. Pittman was the brother of Mike Pittman of Hull.
Memorial services were held Saturday, October 4.

He was the son of Charles Edward Pittman of Sanford Community and the late Sylvine Adams Pittman.
He is also survived by his brother, Mike Pittman of Sanford Community and his sister, Connie Whiting of Saratoga Springs, Utah. He leaves his 11 year old puppy, Brandi, who now is being well cared for by Papa Bill & Mama Doris of Thompson Farms.
He was loved, he enjoyed what little life he had left and and then he finally found peace...God proved gracious and faithful.
