Dewey Walker

Dewey Olin Walker, 34, of Carnesville, died Thursday, September 25, 2008, at his residence.

Born on November 27, 1973, he was the son of Olin Eake and Marilyn Pruitt Walker of Carnesville. He graduated in 1992 from Franklin County High School and received a BBA from North Georgia College. He was a Mason and a member of the Hebron Lodge, Eastern Star, and the Nail’s Creek Baptist Church. Mr. Walker was preceded in death by grandparents, Dewey and Juanita Cash Pruitt, and Howard and Laura Mize Walker.

Survivors in addition to his parents, include a brother, Maylon Walker, Stone Mountain.

Funeral services were held Saturday at Nail’s Creek Baptist Church with the Rev. Duane Eller officiating. Burial was in the church cemetery.

Ginn Funeral Home, Carnesville, is in charge of arrangements.
