Imelda Espino Saenz, 38, of Bethlehem, died Thursday, October 2, 2008.

Born in Guanajuato, Mexico, she was the daughter of the late Antonino and Guadalupe Olvera Espino. She was a member of the St. Matthews Catholic Church and worked at Chico’s for over three years.

Survivors include sons, Dexter and Jonathan Saenz, both of Bethlehem; daughters, Nancy and Jasmine Saenz, both of Bethlehem; brothers, Juan, Jose, Jacobo, Isaias and Antonio Espino; and sisters, Dolores, Esperanza and Isidsa Espino.

Funeral services were held Monday, October 6, at St. Matthews Catholic Church with Father Jaime Barona officiating. Burial was in Smith Family Cemetery.

Smith Funeral Home, Winder, was in charge of arrangements.

Con carin`o a gran persona Tia Imelda que no esta mas con nosotros pero su alma sigue estando en nuestros corazones. Tia Imelda era una persona muy alegre con una gran sonrisa siempre extran`are sus abrazos fuertes que me daba y la voy a extran`ar mucho...Jr
Tuve un suen`o unos dia antes de visitar a Tia Imelda ella sonriente y muy carinosa. Era mi primera ves que la visitava despues de su enfermedad y tal como la son`e asi ella era una hermosa persona igual que sus hijos yo me senti con una alegria aver convivido unos dias con ella ver su valor de persona y sus ganas de luchar por su vida una almirasion que le tengo paresia que si la conociera de toda la vidas. Esos fueron unos dias que en toda mi vida recordare...Cecy

i will never ferget you Imelda. to me you were the nicest and sweatest person i had meet. I never saw you in a bad mood and
and you were one of my moms oldest friends. My School didnt let me go back to georgia to go say the last good bye but i know i would have if i was over there. No onme can take my memories away and i will always remember you and stay friends with your sons and daughters.
