Lucille Day Freeman Gary, 89, of Commerce, died Saturday, October 4, 2008, at Grandview Nursing Home.
She was born in Macon County, the daughter of the late Oliver C. and Ollie Seay Day, and was a homemaker.
Survivors include sons, Jimmy Freeman, Commerce, and Randall Freeman, Jacksonville, Fla.; six grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and six great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Tuesday, October 7, in the chapel of Little-Ward Funeral Home with the Rev. Doug Duncan officiating. Burial was at Mt. Zion Baptist Church cemetery.
Little-Ward Funeral Home, Commerce, was in charge of arrangements.
