Betty Bash (3-11-13)

CARLTON - Betty Joann Meyer Bash died Monday, March 11, 2013.

She was the daughter of the late Roy A. Meyer and Alice Pearl Holland Davis and was a retired seamstress with Platoon Uniforms of Comer.

Survivors include children, Debra (Charles) Grimes and Jeffery (Darlene) Bash; grandchildren, Ricky Neal Burton, Taylor Grimes, Daniel Bash, Brandon Allen, Christopher Allen, Marie Grimes, and Charles Grimes Jr.; great-grandchildren, Mahlaya Wall, Mehlina Wall, Nathaniel Allen, and Aubree Allen; sisters, Erma Freeman and Ellie Setser; and a brother, Michael Meyer.

Funeral services will be held Thursday at 6 p.m. at New Town Baptist Church. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The Rev. John Guest will officiate. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, March 13, at the funeral home.
