Leslie Webb (3-4-13)

NICHOLSON - Leslie Renee Webb, 49, died Monday, March 4, 2013 at St. Mary's Hospital.

She was born in Commerce, the daughter of Kenneth and Carolyn Wood Barnett of Nicholson. She was a member of the Antioch United Methodist Church and was employed with Jackson County School System. Mrs. Webb was preceded in death by her sister, Kelly Barnett; grandparents, John Wood, Esther Bates, Jewell and Hilda Barnett and John Kesler.

Survivors in addition to her parents include her husband, Phillip Webb, Nicholson; daughters, Erica Welty, Nicholson, and Missy Nix, Jefferson; sister, Donna Chandler, Commerce; grandmother, Rosa Lee Kesler, Nicholson; and four grandchildren, Jordan Welty, Taylor Nix, Cody Nix and Colton Nix.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m., Thursday, March 7, at the Antioch United Methodist Church with the Revs. Richard Cathey and Marshall Bruner officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Wednesday, March 6, from 5 to 8 p.m.

Little-Ward Funeral Home, Commerce, is in charge of arrangements.

I am so sorry for your loss.Leslie Webb was such a sweet and kind person. I have wonderful memories of working with her at EJES cafeteria. She could always make you laugh. Sending prayers for the family during this difficult time

I am writting in the sad loss of a beautiful friend, & woman! Leslie Barnett Webb.
I have known Lelsie for a number of years and she has always, always been a very posotive person whom was always seen with a smile, & helping hand. It was sad that she had to live the last years of her life in the circumstances which surrounded her and all her loved ones, but she still had a sparkle each time I saw her,which was a heart full of love she never lost.But at this time, I want to convey my condolences to her family and we all know that God does know best and she is in a better place, with no more pain...RIP Leslie. You will be greatly missed!

I had the pleasure of being a classmate of Leslie's during our time at Benton Elementary School.

She was a quiet, kind soul with a ready smile and laugh. It pains me to learn of her passing and that she dealt with illness for an extended period of time.

Our prayers go out to those who survive her. May God's mercies and peace be with you. May His miraculous power of healing leave your hearts with only the warmest memories of Leslie's life and her love for you.
