WINDER – Norman Alman “Bob” Duncan Jr., 84, died Thursday, February 28, 2013.
Born in Springfield, Va., he was the son of the late Norman Alman Duncan Sr. and Laura L. Kinney Duncan. He was a 1945 graduate of the Winder-Barrow High School and was a member of the Winder First Baptist Church. He was a World War II veteran and retired from Lockheed Aircraft. He traveled and lived overseas before returning to his roots in Winder. He is beloved by his children and grandchildren. Mr. Duncan was preceded in death by his wife, Margie C. Duncan.
Survivors include sons and daughters-in-law, Charlie and Ellen Duncan, San Antonio, Texas, and Chris and Beth Duncan, Columbia, S.C.; daughters and sons-in-law, Connie and Nick Craft, Douglasville, and Catie and Tracy Bonner, Ft. Mill, S.C.; 12 grandchildren, Catherine Branch, Teddy Craft, Greg Duncan, Lauren Duncan, Rachel Bonner, Caleb Bonner, Matthew Bonner, Michael Bonner, Adam Duncan, Mike Duncan, Cassidy Reeh, and Tanner Reeh; and five great-grandchildren, Jackson Craft, Riley Craft, Abigail Branch, Jake Branch, and Rylann Bonner.
Funeral services were held Sunday, March 3, at Winder First Baptist Church with John Talley officiating.

Smith Funeral Home, Winder, was in charge of arrangements.
