Lisa Davis Jackson, 42, of Jefferson, died Friday, October 3, 2008.
Born in Boynton Beach, Fla., on June 10, 1966, she was the daughter of Faye Johns and her husband, Harry, of Wyandotte, Mich., and the late George Davis. She was a para pro with the Jefferson City School System and her love for children and her job made her a very passionate member of the educational community.
Survivors include her husband, Martin A. Jackson, Jefferson; daughters, Callie Jennifer Jackson and Carlee Jo Jackson, both of Jefferson; sister and brother-in-law, Michelle and Doug Walker, Loganville; mother-in-law, Joyce Jackson, Gainesville; sister-in-law, Anita Jackson, Marietta; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, October 7, at 11 a.m., in the chapel of Evans Funeral Home with Minister Michael Jarrett officiating. Burial will be in Evans Memory Gardens in Jefferson.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Carlee and Calle Jackson’s education fund, c/o the Marty A. Jackson Education Fund, First Georgia Banking Company, P.O. Box 749, Jefferson, Ga. 30549.
The family will receive friends Monday, October 8, from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m., at the funeral home.
