ATHENS - Frances Jackson Shelnut, 77, passed away Thursday night, February 21, 2013.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Recie Huff Jackson and John W. Jackson.

A memorial celebration of her life will be held in the spring. The date, time, and place will be announced later.
