Randy Evans (2-21-13)

JEFFERSON - Randy Keith Evans, 53, passed away on Thursday, February 21, 2013.

He was born in Athens, the son of the late Connie Lee Evans and Joyce Arnold Trammell of Jefferson. Mr. Evans was a graduate of Jefferson High School and was a member of the Sons of Confederate Veterans.
Survivors include his mother and stepfather, Joyce and Joseph L. Trammell Jr., Jefferson; sister, Julie Trammell Dixon, Jefferson; three nieces; a nephew; and several cousins.

Funeral services were held Sunday, February 24, at the chapel of Evans Funeral Home with the Rev. Patsy Garrett officiating. Burial was in the Evans Memory Gardens with Phillip Crumley, Brantley Crumley, Steve Satterfield, Gerald Standridge, Vince Snyder and Alan Turner honored as pallbearers. The Sons of Confederate Veterans were honorary pallbearers.

Memorials may be made to the Sons of Confederate Veterans, SCV Camp 94, Jackson County Volunteers, 7882 Jefferson Rd., Athens, GA 30607.

Evans Funeral Home Jefferson, was in charge of arrangements.
