Mary Ellen Sorrow (2-16-13)

NICHOLSON - Mary Ellen Sorrow, 84, died Saturday, February 16, 2013, at her residence.

She was born in Nicholson, the daughter of the late Otha and Ruby Crawford Archer. She was a homemaker and a member of New Harmony Baptist Church. Mrs. Sorrow was preceded in death by her husband, Oles Evertte Sorrow.

Survivors include a son, Larry Sorrow , Nicholson; daughter, Rhonda Sorrow, Nicholson; brothers, Billy and Bobby Archer, both of Nicholson; sister, Alice Pearson, Nicholson; three grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were held Monday, February 18, at New Harmony Baptist Church with the Rev. Allen Seagraves officiating. Interment was in the church cemetery

Little-Ward Funeral Home, Commerce, was in charge of arrangements.
