FLOWERY BRANCH - James B. Patrick, 90, passed away Tuesday, February 5, 2013, at Willowwood Nursing Center following an extended illness.
He was born in Mansfield December 4, 1922, the son of the late Hill Cooper and Lilla Patrick and was in the United States Army. He was a member of the Oak Grove United Methodist Church, where he taught Sunday School, and was retired from Air Cond Atlanta, where he worked for 30 years as a sales manager. Mr. Patrick was preceded in death by his wife, Rachael Patrick; and a son, Tracy Patrick.
Survivors include sons and daughters-in-law, David and Patty Patrick, Lawrenceville, and Barry and Sally Patrick, Flowery Branch; grandchildren, Trevor Patrick, Kelsey Patrick, Matt and Bethany Magnus, Brooke and Andy Kalinausks, and Baya and Matt Pruitt; nine great-grandchildren; sisters, Ann Smith and Katherine Rawlins, both of Greenville, S.C.; and several nieces and nephews.
Memorial services will be held at 11:30 a.m., Friday, February 8, at the Oak Grove United Methodist Church in Decatur. Associate Pastor Susan Allen Grady will officiate. The family will receive friends from 10 to 11:30 a.m., Friday at Oak Grove United Methodist Church.
