Lindsay Boomershine Robertson, 55, of Braselton, died Sunday, September 28, 2008.
Born in Landstuhl-Kaiser Sultun, Germany, she was the daughter of Walter and Winkie Boomershine of Gainesville, and lived most of her life in the Gainesville area. She was vice president and comptroller for Moss Robertson Cadillac-Mazda in Gainesville. She attended Westminister School in Atlanta, The University of Virginia and the Crawford Long Nursing School. She received her BA from Georgia State and received her JD from the Emory School of Law. She was an active member of the North Georgia Community Foundation, where she had served as chairman, was a member of the United Way Tocqueville Society, volunteered at Good News at Noon, Group Member of the National Auto Dealers Association, was active with Centerpoint and served on the finance committee at the First Presbyterian Church of Gainesville, where she was a member.
Survivors in addition to her parents, include her husband of 36 years, E. Moss Robertson Jr., Braselton; daughter and son-in-law, Katie and Jason Sanders, Braselton; grandson, Ralph Robertson Sanders, Braselton; brother and sister-in-law, Mark and Cinda Boomershine, Atlanta; sisters and brothers-in-law, Jackie and Randy Thompson, Atlanta, Renee and Jim Jochum, West Virginia, and Pat and Dirk Mitchell, Oakwood.
Memorial services will be held Wednesday, October 1, at 1 p.m., at the First Presbyterian Church of Gainesville with the Rev. Dr. David McDonald officiating. The family will receive friends after the memorial service.
In lieu of flowers, the family has asked that memorial contributions be made to the Lindsay Robertson Memorial Fund at the North Georgia Community Foundation, 625 Oak St., Gainesville, Ga. 30501.
