JEFFERSON - Dola Ellene Ivey Rector, 94, died Friday, January 25, 2013, at Southern Pines.
She was born in Palmer, Tenn., the daughter of the late James and Clara Poe Ivey. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Commerce, the BJC Auxiliary, and was retired from Lunsford Wilson. Mrs. Rector was preceded in death by her husband, Omar K. Rector.
Survivors include sons, Lynn Rector, Jacksonville, Fla., and Mike Rector, Jefferson; sister, Elizabeth Teague, Chattanooga, Tenn.; five grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Sunday, January 27, at the First United Methodist Church of Commerce with David Bowen officiating. Interment was in Jackson Memorial Gardens.
Memorials may be made to the First United Methodist Church of Commerce.
Little-Ward Funeral Home, Commerce, was in charge of arrangements.
