Cody Eager (1-15-13)

MADISON - Cody Blake Eager, 23, formerly of Barrow County, left us very suddenly Tuesday, January 15, 2013.

Cody greatly loved and was preceded in death by his great-grandfather Earl Dockery, Madison; and great-grandmother, Mary Sue Landress, Lilburn.

Survivors include a large, heartbroken family and circle of friends, including his mother and stepfather, Melissa and Jason Mayfield, Bethlehem; father, Chris Eberhart, Monroe; brothers and sisters, including his twin sister, Corey Kerce, Zak Davidson, Zoe Davidson, Abby Mayfield, Jason Eberhart and Allyson Eberhart; grandparents, Debbie and Stan Ledford, Gainesville, Elaine Bailey Eager, Auburn, Frank Eager, Lawrenceville and Claude "Buster" Haney, Stone Mountain; great-grandparents, Elaine Dockery, Madison and Brannon and Ann Eberhart, Winder; aunts and uncles, Nicole and Chris Mullen, Jared Eager, Jenny and Sean Jackson, Anna Eager and Nick Eager; a host of cousins; two young nieces; and his loving girlfriend, Nikki Boss.

A memorial service was held Saturday, January 19, from the chapel of Meadows Funeral Home, with Cody’s cousin, the Rev. Courtney Chandler, officiating.

Meadows Funeral Home, Monroe, was in charge of arrangements.
