Addie Lou Hawkins (1-15-13)

ROYSTON - Addie Lou Royston Hawkins, 73, passed away on Tuesday, January 15, 2013, at the Anmed Health and Rehab Center in Anderson, S.C..

Born in Madison County, she was the daughter of the late W.C. "Bill" and Etta Brown Royston. She was preceded in death by four brothers, Early Royston, Marshall Royston, Grady Royston, and Roy Royston.

Survivors include her husband, George "Ray" Hawkins, Royston; a sister, Helen Royston Cape, Royston; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services are scheduled for Friday, January 18, at 2 p.m. from the chapel of Ivie Funeral Home in Danielsville with the Rev. Willard Crider officiating. Interment will follow in the New Hope Worship Center Cemetery on Hwy. 29N in Danielsville. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday, January 17, from 6 to 8 p.m. and at other times at the residence located at 376 Ty Cobb St. in Royston.

Ivie Funeral Home, Madison County Chapel, Danielsville, is in charge of services.
