MORROW - May Whitworth Griffeth, 94, died Tuesday, January 15, 2013.
Born in Madison County, she was the daughter of the late Samuel E. and Lula Chandler Whitworth. Mrs. Griffeth was the widow of Alton Griffeth and was preceded in death by her first husband, Wilmer Clifford Cromer; a son, James Anthony "Tony" Cromer; and granddaughter, Kelley Cromer.
Survivors include a daughter, Kay C. Henley, Morrow; grandsons, Rick Henley (Keturah) and Scott Henley; great-granddaughter, Taylor Henley; and great-grandsons, Dan Henley and Jordan Scarborough Henley.
Graveside services will be held Thursday, January 17, at 11 a.m. at Whitworth Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society or Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.
