Dorothy Hotte (1-11-12)

COMMERCE/CARNESVILLE - Dorothy M. Hotte, 88, passed away Friday, January 11, 2013, at the Northridge Medical Center.

She was born in Maysville on July 17, 1924, the daughter of the late Jessie Williamson and Ethel Seay Williamson. She was a member of the Full Gospel Holiness Church in Commerce. Mrs. Hotte was preceded in death by her husband, Richard N. Hotte; sisters, Rhoda Williamson, Mamie Cowart, Bessie Swain, Neva Swain, Frances Cowart and Eunice Smith; brothers, Nuel Williamson, Jewell Williamson, George Williamson; and a daughter, Carolyn Truman.

Survivors include a daughter, Shirley Asselin, Mass.; a sister, Gaynell Pace, Commerce; and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Funeral services are scheduled for Saturday, January 19, at 2 p.m. from the chapel of Ivie Funeral Home with the Revs. Toby and Larry Dyer officiating. Interment will follow in the Howington Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday from 10 a.m. until the time of service.

Donations may be made to the Full Gospel Holiness Church at 102 Cabin Creek Rd., Commerce, GA 30529.

Ivie Funeral Home, Commerce, is in charge of arrangements.
