Julia Paul

Julia Johnson Paul, 90, of Carlton, died Saturday, September 27, 2008.

Born in Oglethorpe County, she was the daughter of the late Julian Reviere and Eula Frances Smith Johnson. She was a member of Carlton Baptist Church. Mrs. Paul was preceded in death by her husband, Albert “Pat” Paul.

Survivors include daughters and sons-in-law, Delphine and Thomas Kay, Cleveland, Nita and Johnny Gunnells, Hull; sister, Gwen Harrison, Danielsville; grandchildren, Pam and Bobby Hill, Jan Kay and Kelly Smith, Julie and Adam Ledford and J.J. Gunnells; great-grandchildren, Rob and Jennifer Hill and Brad and Michelle Hill.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, October 1, at 11 a.m., at Carlton Baptist Church with the Revs. David Burt and Dwight Duhon officiating. Pallbearers will be Bobby Hill, Don Glenn, Rob Hill, Brad Hill, J.J. Gunnells, Adam Ledford and David Harrison. Burial will be in Carlton Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Carlton Baptist Church or Millstone Baptist Church.
