MAYSVILLE - Bobby Hicks, 66, passed away Sunday, December 23, 2012.
Bobby loved to fish, gardening and sports. He was a veteran in the United States Army. Mr. Hicks was preceded in death by his parents, William and Sarah Hicks; and son, Bud James Hicks.
Survivors include his wife of 45 years, Bertie Hicks; sons, Bobby Hicks II and Lynn, Commerce, Robert Hicks, Maysville, and Michael Edward Hicks and Cindy, Talmo; daughter, Amanda Wiley and Rodney, Maysville; brother, Eddie Hicks and Janie, Danielsville; sisters, Virginia Seeley and Tom, Carnesville, Shirley Martin and Boyd, Athens, Connie Bettis and Gerald, Commerce, and Pam Faulkner and Craig, Lula; seven grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Friday, December 28, at the Hoschton First Baptist Church. Interment was in the Woodbine Jefferson City Cemetery.
