Dorothy Jo Manders (1-6-13)

WINDER – Dorothy Jo Manders, 87, died Sunday, January 6, 2013.

She was the daughter of the late Morgan and Mary G. Starnes. Mrs. Manders was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Manders; and a son, Johnny Manders.

Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, Jimmy and Faye Manders, Winder; daughters and sons-in-law, Donna Kay and Bill Rodgers, Winder, and Cathy and David Elder, Winder; daughter-in-law, Ann Manders; grandchildren, Jill Green, Michelle Gilreath, Jason Manders, Matt Manders and Justin Rogers; 11 great-grandchildren; sister-in-law, Doris Cook, Winder; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, January 8, at 2 p.m. in Smith Memory Chapel with John Talley officiating. Interment will be in Rose Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Monday, January 7, from 5 to 8 p.m.
