COMMERCE - Della Merline McKie, 88, died Sunday, January 6, 2013, at St. Mary's Hospice House.
She was born in Carnesville, the daughter of the late Dan and Ida Kay Moore. She was a homemaker. Mrs. McKie was preceded in death by her husband, Cecil McKie; and a daughter, Karen Carden.
Survivors include a daughter, Shirley Standridge, Maysville; son, Rusty McKie, Maysville; daughter, Brenda Patrick, Commerce; daughter, Mildred Barnette, Winder; son, Bobby McKie, Commerce; daughter, Ann McKie, Commerce; brother, Roger Moore, Jefferson; 11 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, January 8, at 11 a.m. from the chapel of Little-Ward Funeral Home with the Rev. Donald Nix officiating. Interment will be in Grey Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Monday, January 7, from 6 to 8 p.m.
Little-Ward Funeral Home, Commerce, is in charge of arrangements.
