SMYRNA, TENN. - A.L. Hulsey Jr., 81, died Friday, January 4, 2013.
A native of Braselton, he was the son of the late Addie Lee Hulsey Sr. and Erminee Berryman Hulsey.
He was a member of Parkway Baptist Church. He was a United States Army Veteran of the Korean War and was retired from the fleet service of American Airlines. Mr. Hulsey enjoyed playing golf, going to the beach, and reading. He loved spending time with his family.
Survivors include his loving wife of 58 years, Mary Jurelle Hulsey; son, Steven Hulsey and Vicky Lenz, Centreville, Va.; son, David Hulsey and his wife Karen, Smyrna, Tenn.; daughter, Donna Hardy and her husband Kirk, Lake Forest, Ill.; grandchildren, Stephanie Spicer, Brent Hulsey, Amanda Hulsey, Candice Sweet, Ryan Hulsey, Keeley Hardy and Ellie Hardy; great-grandchildren, Alexandra Spicer and Brock Hulsey, due in April 2013; sisters, Loretta Richardson, Dacula, and Nancy Brock, Apison, Tenn.; brothers, Donald Hulsey, Hoschton, and Joe Hulsey, Cleveland; and several nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held Monday, January 7, at 11 a.m. in Roselawn Memorial Gardens. Brother Dan Parker will officiate. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers. Visitation with the family will be from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m. Sunday, January 6, at Woodfin Chapel in Smyrna. 459-3254
