NICHOLSON - James Boyd Minish, 61, died Wednesday, January 2, 2013, at Athens Regional Medical Center.
He was born in Commerce, the son of the late Telford and Dartha Martin Minish. He was a member of the Baptist denomination and was employed as a brick mason.
Survivors include his wife, Kim Jones Minish, Nicholson; brother, Parris Minish, Danielsville; and sister, Linda Ingram.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m., Saturday, January 5, at New Harmony Baptist Church. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. The Rev. Geoff Rushin will officiate. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Friday, January 4, from 6 to 8 p.m.
Little-Ward Funeral Home, Commerce, is in charge of arrangements.
