GILMAN, VT. - Christopher Alan Rouse, 26, formerly of Hoschton, passed away on Thursday, December 27, 2012.

He was born in Commerce, the son of James Thomas (Helen) Rouse of Jefferson, and Marsha Gable (Eric) Jones of Gainesville.

Survivors in addition to his parents include a sister, Gina Rouse (Brian) Cronier, Jefferson; brothers, Shane (Margie) Rouse, Maysville, Brant Rouse, Carnesville, Michael Gable, Gainesville, and Jimmy (Felisha) Rouse, Jefferson; a number of nieces and nephews; and other relatives.

Memorial services will be held Thursday January 3, at 2 p.m., at Evans Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Ronnie Coley officiating. The family will receive friends from 1 p.m. until 2 p.m. on Thursday prior to the service at the funeral home.

Evans Funeral Home, Jefferson, is in charge of arrangements.
