DACULA - Paul C. Bentley, 83, passed away on Tuesday, January 1, 2013, at the Andrew T. Parker division of Embracing Hospice in Snellville.
He served in the United States Navy and was a veteran of the Korean War. After 39 years of service at Delta Airlines, Mr. Bentley retired as an inspector in the quality control department. He was preceded in death by his father and mother, W.A. and Eunice Wood Bentley; and brothers, W.B. Bentley, Grady Bentley, and Ernest Bentley.
Survivors include his wife of 60 years, Evelyn Frances Fuller Bentley, Dacula; daughter, Paula Bentley Moore, San Diego, Calif.; sons, Philip Bentley, Gulf Breeze, Fla., Joel Bentley, Dacula, and Timothy Bentley, Dacula; grandchildren, Daniel Keith Bentley, Dacula, Kelli Nicole Bentley, Yoan, Guam, Melissa Rose Bentley, Buford, Joshua Michael Bentley, Gulf Breeze, Fla., Kaitlyn Ruth Bentley, Troy, Ala., Jonathan Andrew Bentley, Harrisburg, S.D.; and sister, Dorothy Harmon, Dallas.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, January 5, at the Memory Chapel of Smith Funeral Home in Winder. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday, January 4, from 6 to 9 p.m.
