HOMER - Linda Allene Campbell, 71, died Tuesday, January 1, 2013, at Hill Haven Nursing Home.
She was born in Homer, the daughter of the late Roy Albert and Allene Morris Merck. Mrs. Campbell was a member of Temple Baptist Church and was retired from Blue Bell.
Survivors include a daughter, Andrea Smith, Homer; sons, Drew Campbell, Commerce, and Wayne Campbell, Carnesville; brothers, Venable Merck, Homer, and Brad Merck, Vidalia; and four grandchildren.
Funeral service will be held Thursday, January 3, at 3 p.m. from Temple Baptist Church with the Revs. Swayne Cochran and James Campbell officiating. Interment will follow in Banks Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral Home Wednesday, January 2, from 6 to 9 p.m.
Little-Ward Funeral Home, Commerce, is in charge of arrangements.
