ATHENS - Venice Lee Embrick Roberts, 68, passed away on Wednesday, December 26, 2012, at her residence.

Born in Commerce, she was the daughter of the late Lee and Annie Mae Fredrick Embrick.

Survivors include siblings, Dorothy Ann Austin, Charles Lee Embrick and Harold Lee Embrick, all of Commerce.

The family requested a direct burial. However, memorial services are scheduled for Sunday, December 30, at 4 p.m., from the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Watkinsville. The family will receive friends at that time.

Ivie Funeral Home, Athens, is in charge of arrangements.
