NICHOLSON - Mallice Elizabeth Young Chatham, 88, passed away on Sunday, December 23, 2012.

She was born in Turner County, the daughter of the late Roy B. Young Sr. and Lennis Rice Young. She was a homemaker and was of the Baptist denomination. Mrs. Chatham was preceded in death by her husband, Fred Harrison Chatham; and brothers, Roy B. Young Jr. and Charlie Young.

Survivors include a daughter, Martha Faye Conner, Nicholson; sons, Billy (Elaine) Chatham, Buford, Robert L. Chatham, Grayson, and Walter Ray (LaVerne) Chatham, Monroe; six grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; seven great-great-grandchildren.

Graveside services will be held Wednesday, December 26, at 3 p.m. in the Peachtree Memorial Park in Duluth.
