Frances Kelley (12-20-12)

JEFFERSON - Frances Dowell Kelley, 88, passed away Thursday, December 20, 2012.

She was born in Crossplains, Tenn., the daughter of the late Thomas and Ruby Carver Dowell. Mrs. Kelley was a retired teacher's assistant with the Jackson County School System and a member of the Galilee Christian Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Edward Odell Kelley.

Survivors include two sons, Tommy Kelley, Cataula, and Jeff Kelley, Jefferson; two daughters, Sharon Qualls, Suwanee, and Karen Icenhour, Dallas; a brother, Robert Drake, Ridgetop, Tenn.; nine grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Saturday, December 22, from the Galilee Christian Church with Minister Tom Plank officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends Friday, December 21, from 5 to 7 p.m. at Evans Funeral Home.
