Sue Leachman (12-16-12)

COMMERCE - Sue C. Leachman, 75, died Sunday, December 16, 2012, at her residence following an extended illness.

She was born in Louisville, Ky., the daughter of the late William and Virginia Elmore. Mrs. Leachman was preceded in death by her husband, Coy Leachman; children, Kevin Hagan, and Theresa Marsingill; and sisters, Libby Purtell and Diane McCormack.

Survivors include children, Paula Underwood, Commerce, Curtis McIntire, Nicholson, Frank and Pam McIntire, Underwood, Ind., Gary and Anne McIntire, Nashville, Tenn., Steven and Shirley Hagan, Nicholson, and Stephanie Hagan, Jefferson, and Sheila Norman, Commerce, who was her special caregiver for the last eight years; sisters, Norma and Don Lancaster, Alabama, Mary and Jake Jacobson, California, and Toni Carter, Kentucky; 12 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held Wednesday, December 19, from 6 until 9 p.m. Funeral services will be held in the chapel of Ivie Funeral Home on Thursday, December 20, at 2 p.m.

Ivie Funeral Home, Commerce, is in charge of arrangements.
