‘Buster’ Morrison (12-5-12)

DANIELSVILLE - William Lester “Buster” Morrison, 93, died Wednesday, December 5, 2012.

A native of Madison County, he was the son of the late William and Willie Morgan Morrison. Mr. Morrison was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Evelyn Belk Morrison; and siblings, Watson, Marion and Pete Morrison, Jeanette Hudson, Pauline Fitzpatrick, Dolly McEntire and Ginny Sue Wilbanks. He was a retired farmer, school bus driver, and mechanic with the Madison County Board of Education. He was a member of the Wesley Chapel Methodist Church for many years.

Survivors include children, William L. Morrison Jr., Brenda (Farris) Gary, Cheryl Elaine Cefalu, Dianne (Chet) Mingledorff, and Gail (Eddie) Fisher; sisters, Joyce Daniel and Betty Morrison; 15 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; and a special caregiver, Nicolas Cefalu.

Graveside services will be held Saturday December 8, at 2 p.m. at Wesley Chapel Community Church cemetery. Chet Mingledorff will officiate. Pallbearers will be grandsons. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Friday, December 7, from 7 to 9 p.m.

Lord and Stephens Funeral Home, Danielsville, is in charge of arrangements.
