Rickey Hales (12-4-12)

COMMERCE - Rickey Mark Hales, 53, passed away on Tuesday, December 4, 2012.

He was born in Asheville, N.C., the son of Jarrell N. and Melba Ingram Hales of Chamblee. He grew up in Chamblee and later moved to Commerce. He was an auto glass technician. He attended Trinity Baptist Church in Brookhaven. Mr. Hales was preceded in death by a brother, Phillip Scott Hales.

Survivors in addition to his parents include his wife, Patricia Hales, Commerce; daughters, Pamela (Shane) Fortner, and Amanda Hales, all of Jefferson; sister, Regina Hales, Woodstock; brothers, Jerry Hales, Woodstock, and Eric Hales, Jefferson; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, December 7, at the chapel of Evans Funeral Home with the Rev. Johnny Knight officiating. Burial will follow in the Pond Fork Baptist Church Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday from 12 noon to 2 p.m. at the funeral home prior to the service.
